This is a digital matte painting for the independent movie Nydenion.
To get more painting practice I tried to stay away from textures, brush voodoo or copy and past. There is no CG model involved, everything is painted with the help of perspective lines.
This was pretty hard as it expanded the time for painting very, but at the same time it gave me a lot of practice and I felt like time travelling to the good old glass shot matte painting days.
The original file is 5000x2529 at 300dpi, so there's a lot of detail in it, which made it not easier for me as I have fallen in love with this whole greeble stuff ;-)
We will add some air traffic and people on the plattforms, I will post a note when we have a finished comp.
